Diablo clone is a phrase tossed around a lot when it comes to action RPGs. Rightly so, since the original Diablo pioneered the genre. And in some ways, Torchlight 2 is quite the Diablo clone, but considering that two of the minds behind Torchlight 2, Max and Erich Schaefer, also helped to create the original Diablo, it was a schaef bet that Torchlight 2 would be something more. And, sure enough, it was.
